What is biocide, and why do we use it?

Biocide is a professional-grade treatment that kills moss, algae and lichen at root level. It is applied after cleaning so any remaining spores are destroyed. We only use HSE-approved products, they keep working for up to 12 months, and they typically prevent regrowth for 2 to 5 years depending on shade and exposure.
